The Book Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare is about 2 families that hate each other, (Montages and Capulets) one day a girl named Juliet Capulet and a boy named Romeo Montague met and instantly fell in love. They where in love so much that they ended up killing themselves so that they could be together forever. The way Romeo and Juliet acted towards each other is actually very similar to modern day lovers. Today many people show a large amount of affection towards each other much like Romeo and Juliet did.
In modern day Romeo and Juliet could be seen as an odd couple, there are some different things about the way they acted back then and today, for example Juliet would most likely not be forced to marry someone, and she would have a choice. This would make it so Romeo and Juliet would never have to kill themselves, and there would most likely be no family feud that prohibits 2 people to marry each other from the other family. So if Romeo and Juliet meet in a modern 21 century setting the would most likely be able to marry each other and be happy together, and not kill themselves for their love. But in all the book and movies are similar and the way Romeo and Juliet act is not much different to modern day books like the Hunger Games and modern day couples.
The newer version of Romeo and Juliet that takes place in “Verona Beach” (LA) the characters are presented as modern day people that carry around guns and drive cars, but talk like Romeo and Juliet (the book) and they have modern day conflicts and problems. One thing that the movie does really well in is showing how much Romeo and Juliet love each other, and shows it in a more modern version. Like the balcony scene, there is a security guard that is watching cameras to make sure no trespassers come in; this movie version of the book makes Romeo and Juliet seen like kids that live in the 21-century and not hundreds of years ago.

This article is about a galaxy discovered. The galaxy is believed to produce 3000 stars a year. The rate at which the galaxy is producing stars is 2000% more that the milky way galaxy. But the galaxy is so far away that we only see it as 1/6 of its current age.
I think this article is really cool. We are finding out more and more about our universe, I think that it would be interesting to go back and look at all these discovered galaxies in a hundred years. I think that the space probes going out of our galaxy right now are going to crazy places and i think that we should send out more of these explorer probes.

This article is about the voyager. The voyager is a space craft sent out by nasa in 1977. The voyager is traveling at a speed of 38,000 miles per hour. Reports now say the the voyager 1 has left the solar system, scientists are not sure if it is true that it did leave. One thing that the article talks about is cosmic rays, and the fact that the cosmic rays where extremely strange farther out in out solar system.
I think this article is very cool, America is really trying to explore out universe and i think that sending out the voyager was the coolest thing that Nasa has done. What I want to know more about is if the voyager is going to enter a new solar system or if it is going to keep traveling. I wonder if in the future Americans will look to see where the voyager is and it will be in a new galaxy.

This article by Cole Hill is about a new study that has measured the distance of a galaxy, the study shows that the galaxy is now 40,000 light years closer to the milky way that previously thought. The method used to measure the distance of the galaxy may change the way we measure things now. Although now scientists are focusing on looking at the galaxy that is closest to us.
I think this article is really cool. The fact that the galaxy is moving closer to us could be good and bad. Maybe the new method of measuring is the reason it is closer, I think that we should sent a probe to the galaxy, I know that it will take hundreds of years to get to the galaxy but it could open the eyes for the future and help them see what is out there.

In the article "Monster Black Holes Spin Revealed for 1st Time" by Mike Wall, we have just measured the spin of a black hole. Scientists believe that this new method of measuring black holes can change the way we see the world. The Black hole that was measured is a super huge black hole in the middle of the galaxy NGC 1365 and it is spinning 84% faster than Einstein's theory of relativity. Other studies led scientists to believe that black holes rotated slowly, but this new study shows that some black holes rotate faster.
I think this article is really cool. The fact that we have learned how to measure a black hole shows how far we have advanced. I agree with the scientist that said that this may change the way we see the world because we now have the ability to measure things that are huge! I also think that more black holes should be measured to see if this new method works all the time. Also I think that other objects should be measured because it can tell us a lot about this measuring method.
